This experiential workshop is for health care professionals who want to expand their knowledge of sound healing while learning practical applications for patient care. In this program participants will be introduced to a well-researched state of the art technology that facilitates deep relaxation, sleep and pain management. Additionally, mechanisms to measure results will be demonstrated.

Meet The Increasing Demand for CAM Therapies by Patients Nationwide

Over the last ten years, alternative forms of complementary patient care have increased significantly. This is supported by research, which indicates that approximately 38% of adult Americans seek complimentary and alternative therapies to enhance traditional treatment therapies.* There is also a trend of patients asking their healthcare providers for more information about alternative healing modalities. The Sound Medicine course provides doctors and healthcare practitioners the opportunity to learn another tool to complement conventional therapies.

Smiling Doctor with Arms Crossed

Provide improved patient care in numerous medical specializations including but not limited to…

R

Palliative Care

Patients experiencing the symptoms and stress of serious illness are seeking the sleep, relaxation, and stress relieving benefits that sound healing technology has to offer.
R

Emergency Medicine

ER Doctors are often over worked and over stressed. Sound technology offers relief not only to their patients, but for the doctor as well. Short naps can feel like hours of needed sleep with proper application.
R

Oncology

Cancer patients deal with severe side effects from conventional treatments such as chemotherapy. Binaural beats and other sound technology has been shown to help manage these symptoms. Reduced nausea, improved sleep, and an overall sense of well-being are commonly observed benefits.
R

Pain Management

People dealing with pain associated with illness, injury, and recovery can add sound technology to their tool box of modalities. By synchronizing the brain’s hemispheres, one can more readily improve sleep and deeply relax while learning techniques to diminish pain signals.

What You Will Learn in This Course

This two-day event is an intensive workshop designed to provide participants direct experience with different states of consciousness and the tools for helping others quickly access them for use in daily life, which include facilitating relaxation, enhancing sleep and managing pain.

R

Participants will be introduced to the principles and technology of hemispheric synchronization (HS).

R

Participants will learn more about the effects of binaural beat and spatial angle modulation sound technologies, which can lead us to various brain states (beta, alpha, theta, delta, and gamma).

Learning Objectives:

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to…

R

Describe the principles and technology of hemispheric synchronization in terms patients comprehend.

R

Describe the effects of binaural beat and spatial angle modulation sound technologies, which can lead us to various brain states (beta, alpha, theta and delta).

R

Establish treatment protocol for patients using binaural beat and spatial angle modulation sound technologies as a means to enhance concentration, relaxation and deep sleep.

Research has indicated that people are more content, balanced and physically healthy when the right and left hemispheres are both being utilized in a balanced way. Sound healing technology is an excellent method for obtaining as well as maintaining whole-brain functioning. When hemispheric synchronization is obtained in the brain, people experience a multitude of benefits. These include increased mental capacity, improved mental focus, deeper relaxation, greater confidence, decrease in agitation, and the ability to remain emotionally grounded, even while facing challenging circumstances.
